Greg A. Lewis
In my adolescence, art was my calling.   As time
passed, the pressure of being an adult suppressed my
artistic goals.  Having young children reminded me to be
true to my feelings; to teach them to choose wisely and
follow their dreams.   What better way to teach this
lesson than by example.

For the past fifteen years I have tried to live that
example through my sculpture.  Sculpting provides me
with an appreciation of history, knowing the mediums I
utilize were used centuries before by so many different
cultures.  It gives me great fulfillment to know that my
sculptures have their own immortality and will remain on
earth for centuries to come.

My sculptures are primal beings.  They are life forms
reduced to their essential elements.  They communicate
my visions.
