Paul Jira
 Paul is a local artist who was born in Cleveland, Ohio and currently lives
in the Chippewa Lake area. He received a scholarship to Columbus
School of Art & Design and also attended Cooper School of Art. Paul
also had his work published in the 2005, 2006, 2008 and 2009 Desk
Calendar 52 weeks 52 works.

 His unique style of painting includes various mediums such as acrylics,
inks, roofing tar and paper towels.

 He believes an artist’s subject matter should capture personal
experiences and interests. His paintings include well known landmarks in
Cleveland and Medina that include the West Side Market, the Allen
Theatre and Chippewa Lake Amusement Park. Others are of an
industrial nature such as machine operators, collages and machinery.
