Tina Pennington is a multi-talented artist whose specialties are floral
and contemporary multi-dimensional paintings. Her knowledge of
color and texture has helped Tina to develop her own unique style.
Raised in Independence Ohio, a small town south of Cleveland, Tina
was always involved in the arts. She is an accomplished dancer who
taught and performed professionally for twenty-five years. She also
had a clothing design business in which she designed one-of-a-kind
coats and jackets for private clients as well as retail stores
throughout the United States.
Despite her love for the arts, Tina chose to pursue a teaching
career. Upon achieving a masters degree in health and physical
education with an emphasis in motor development, Tina taught
secondary and elementary children for thirty two years.
After retiring from teaching, Tina once again pursued her artistic
interests. This time it was painting. Tina’s works are layers of color
and texture done in a wet wash technique resulting in interesting
and exciting artistic pieces. Tina has done commissioned work for
both the public sector and private clients. Although most of Tina’s
work is large, she can accommodate any size or color scheme one
might require.
